Swimming
The Club Swimming Pool is exceptionally well-equipped with a wide array of advanced swimming pool equipment. This includes state-of-the-art systems for water filtration, powerful vacuum systems for thorough cleaning, and high-quality disinfectants to ensure the water remains safe and hygienic. Additionally, the pool features a sophisticated filtration plant dedicated to comprehensive water treatment, which is a mandatory requirement according to national standards.
Gymnasium
The facilities of Gym are being regularly used by the members. There are many health conscious people today & many of our members also enjoy working out in the gym. The new gym with the state of Art Equipment’s and with the addition of some new machines in the gymnasium provide unique opportunity to the gymnasium enthusiast with a scenic picturesque and lush green lawn, provide a great ambience for the members.
Lawn Tennis
The Shillong Club has two newly constructed Synthetic court with night playing facilities and we also allow other enthusiast players to come and enjoy the sports activities & to popularize the game of Lawn Tennis amongst the youngsters, various coaching camps and tournaments are being organized in District/State Level from time to time.
The Shillong Club has newly constructed rest room for the members, equipped with all the modern facilities, with clean toilets & shower rooms and also the gallery on the first floor to enjoy the sporting activities and enjoy the sports.
Table Tennis
It is a place for recreation, especially for health conscious members seeking some relaxation time indoors. We also organise competitions at frequent intervals for fun and entertainment, whereby members and their children’s participate enthusiastically. The Table Tennis enthusiasts have been making full use of this facility beginning early morning & for the convenience of Children and youth, one full time coach has been appointed, in order to promote the game of Table Tennis.
Billiards Room
It is one of the most popular indoor sports game and pride of the club. This has been the legacy of the Club since its inception and we are strictly maintaining the century old tradition and is situated right to the atrium which presents an amazing ambience for the sportsperson in you. There are three billiard tables. Several tournaments are held for the members besides the different competition levels involving State Championship held at particular times of the year.
Bridge & Rummy
Engage in thrilling Bridge and Rummy matches with fellow members. Our spacious room provides ample space for multiple games, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all. Sharpen your strategic thinking and build lasting friendships as you compete in friendly matches.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the world of cards. Our Bridge and Rummy room offers a serene environment where you can relax, socialize, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow card players.
